St Molua’s Day
June 1 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
In Stormont Parish “St Molua’s Day” was always celebrated on the first weekend in June, when a youth organisation service was held.
Do you have happy memories of your time in Bunnies/Brownies/Guides/Cubs/Scouts or Venture Scouts? Do you remember going to the Youth club, Bowling club or the Badminton Club? What about the Drama productions, pantomimes and the gang shows?
Over the first weekend of June this year we plan to celebrate St Molua’s day once again by holding an “Open Day and Gift Day”. People can come along and connect or re-connect with friends from the past and hopefully meet new friends. There will be the opportunity for people to chat over refreshments and hot dogs and look at the photos and video gallery, along with re(visiting) the church, hear some wonderful music and perhaps give a financial gift to the church in recognition of the good times int he past and to help to secure its future.
You are warmly invited to come along to look at the history of this listed building and have an “access all areas” tour.
Please share this with far and wide to anyone that has had any connections with St Molua’s in the past. We look forward to seeing you all there and catching up with everyone.
