Christians Against Poverty NI (CAP NI) is one of the many charities which the people of St Molua’s help support (see our Charity and Community page for more details).
You are invited to join a Zoom Information Evening with CAP NI on Thursday 22 October at 7.30 pm.
CAP is well placed to help our parishes respond to the personal and community fallout from the global pandemic. Levels of anxiety are increasing as people are put on notice of possible redundancy or have already lost their jobs. Foodbanks are experiencing higher levels of demand.
At the meeting (which will last no more than an hour) Paul Livingstone, CAP’s Northern Ireland Partnership Manager, will talk about the charity’s work. Other local CAP workers will share incredible stories of positive change which CAP has seen in recent years. There will also be the opportunity to ask questions.
The gathering will be relevant to anyone– but will have a special focus on the East Belfast/North Down area.
Please email your questions in advance to Canon Gareth Harron.
