World Day of Prayer 2021

The service for this year’s World Day of Prayer on Friday 5 March has been planned and written by the women of Vanuatu and is entitled ‘Build on a strong foundation’ based on Matthew 7:24-27.

In the midst of difficult days and the challenges and heartbreak that surrounds us, yet still God is. And even though our churches are not open and available for public worship, we still can pray. The Covid-19 pandemic does not prevent us from communicating with our Creator.

The local service this year was recorded in St Colmcille’s in Ballyhackamore, East Belfast with a small team of the local committee taking part. Please click on the player below to view the service and join together in worship on Friday.
