TV recordings at St Molua’s

You may recall that back in August, Christian TV broadcasting company TBNUK were in Northern Ireland, including St Molua’s, to record programmes for broadcast later in the year.

Five half-hour programmes under TBNUK’s Sacred Harmony series, which highlights Christian music through the centuries, will be aired during November and December. These can be found on Freeview Channel 66, Sky Channel 582 or online at TBNUK

The lead presenter is Simon Lole, former Director of Music at Salisbury Cathedral, and a regular contributor to BBC Songs of Praise

Simon conducts a choir of local singers, the Ulster Consort, in a variety of Christian music styles.  All the choir pieces were recorded in St Molua’s Church.

The first programme is on Tuesday 15th November at 10.00 pm, and it is repeated at 5.30 pm on Wednesday 16th November, and at 12.30 pm on Sunday 20th November. Thereafter, it will follow the same pattern each week for the five programmes.
