Many will recall the visit of Leo, the Bishop of Multan, and his wife Honey to our service of Morning Worship at St Molua’s in June. The Diocese of Down and Dromore has recently held a prayer meeting over Zoom with Bishop Leo and Honey Sadaf as part of our ongoing link with the diocese of Multan in Pakistan. A brief report of the meeting is given below.
You may just recognise one of the Down and Dromore participants near the centre of the following screenshot 😊

What a joy to renew fellowship this morning with Bishop Leo and Honey Sadaf from our link diocese of Multan in Pakistan. Leaders and staff from Down and Dromore joined Leo and Honey and several others from the team in Multan for our first prayer meeting over Zoom.
Following a short devotion from Bishop Leo and an opening prayer from Archdeacon Jim, we introduced ourselves. We met five staff members from Multan for the first time:
Revd Atif Michael: “My services include assistant Pastor in Multan Cathedral of St. Mary the Virgin, as an Army Chaplain and also as Youth (Young Church) and Sunday school (Children for Christ) Coordinator since 2012.”
Asif Shahzad: “I am serving as the Coordinator of the Mission and Ministry Sector as well as the Primary Education Program and as assistant in Development Sector for the last 8 years.”
Revd Aurangzeb: “I am working as a Priest in Multan Diocese, Church of Pakistan, also working as a Coordinator at P.N. Paul Bible School Multan.”
Zaki Joseph: “I am graduated in Accounts and Finance. Currently I am a student of MBA Banking and Finance and I am working in Multan Diocese as Accounts and Finance Manager.”
Joshua Qaisar: “I am new intern and I am doing my MBA in HR.”
We had circulated mutual requests beforehand so that everyone was able to pray with insight.

Many thanks to Denise Wilson who coordinates the link, for organising the meeting.
