Thank you so much to all who gave generously to our Harvest Appeal last Sunday for non-perishable food items etc. These have been taken to, and gratefully received by, Dundonald Foodbank.
Of course, our collections for the foodbank continue throughout the year and items may be left in the church porch any Sunday morning. Also on those Wednesday mornings when the Parish Office is open during term time.
Details of items which the Foodbank would particularly appreciate at this time can be found below:
Tea / Coffee
Long life milk
Diluting juice
Tinned fruit
Tinned Custard / Rice
Tinned meat
Microwave rice
In September the Foodbank distributed 109 packs reaching 295 people (including 129 children).
You can keep a check on the Foodbank’s most needy requirements at stmoluasonline.com/food-bank/
Thank you again for your support.
Dundonald foodbank is part of The Trussell Trust’s network of 428 foodbanks across the UK which provide emergency food to people in crisis and which work to tackle food poverty and hunger in local communities.
