The weather could not have been better for our ‘Sole Mates’ walking group’s latest outing on Saturday 17 May when we visited Delamont Country Park on the shores of Strangford Lough.
Brilliant sunshine was tempered by a gentle breeze as we strolled around this beautiful part of County Down with magnificent views across the lough and, further afield, to the Mountains of Mourne in the misty distance.
Fellowship continued after our walk as we adjourned to the café at Finnebrogue Woods, near Downpatrick, for a very enjoyable lunch 😃.
