While our numbers were a bit smaller than usual (due to it having been a very busy week in St Molua’s and other local attractions taking place) our Sole Mates walking group recently spent a very enjoyable morning exploring Belfast’s Titanic Quarter.
We travelled first by Glider bus to the Thompson Dock area. Given the increasing heat of the day, we then took a leisurely stroll up river past HMS Caroline, the Great Light, the Titanic Visitor Building, Titanic Hotel and Odyssey Place / SSE Arena before crossing the River Lagan at Queen’s Quay to reach the Big Fish near the Albert Clock.
A really interesting walk on a beautiful morning and which included a good coffee stop. Plenty to go back and see again. Thanks to Audrey and Denis for organising and shepherding us.
