Bishop David has joined hundreds of other bishops from across the worldwide Anglican Communion in Canterbury, Kent, for the 2022 Lambeth Conference.
With the theme of ‘God’s Church for God’s World – walking, listening and witnessing together,’ the conference will explore what it means for the Anglican Communion to be responsive to the needs of a 21st Century world.
Sunday’s opening service in Canterbury Cathedral followed several days of retreat and plenary sessions.
Bishop David said: “It’s a real privilege to join with Bishops from across our Anglican Communion and especially to meet and hear from those ministering in countries where the church is being persecuted.
“Hilary and I have also had the joy of spending some time with Bishop Moses and Mama Rejoice from our link diocese of Maridi.”
