Our Craft & Chat group have been very busy during 2023. In addition to producing knitted flowers, bunting and cupcakes, for the Flower Festival in May, we have been knitting for the Reaching Hand charity in Bangalore, India. These hats were delivered to New Home – a shelter home for both boys and girls. How lovely it is to see the pleasure on the children’s faces in the photo below!
Over the summer our hands have not been idle and in September Janet Wilson from the charity Gift International visited us to collect the ‘Trauma Bears’ which we had made. Janet will be taking these little bears to children in Africa in October.
