Café Church is held in the parish hall at 6.30pm most weeks. We gather together in a family friendly, low key, relaxed, and informal environment with refreshments on offer.
Café church is a contemporary reimagining of a concept which harks back to the early church; the coming together of small Christian communities to learn, to break bread and share worship. The format may include creative forms of liturgy and shared prayer and discussion around tables. The flexibility of the hall as a venue enables us to vary our structure and format from time to time.
We’re currently working our way through ‘Fruitfulness on the Frontline’, and in March we’ll be starting The Lectio Course from 24-7 Prayer. We really enjoyed ‘The Prayer course’, and ‘Be Still’ courses, so we’re really looking forward to this new resource.
Everybody welcome
